Mei Kawamura joined Land Crazy in December 2020 as their Project Manager. She earned her degree in Resort & Lodging Management from Chico State in Chico, California. She brings over eight years of business management and client service expertise. Prior to joining the team, she helped launch a successful startup hedge fund and investment management financial service based in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
Over the last three years, she played a key role in the success of the businesses. She helped the startup company raise assets under management from 500k to over 65 million within two years. But the Appalachian Mountains was calling her name. This is why she relocated from Nevada in November 2019. After her initial visit, she fell in love with the small town, landscape, and its community. It was also time for a much-needed change.
Prior to working for the financial services industry, she spent time in real estate as the escrow coordinator and administrator for Chase International and Sierra Sotheby’s International. She honed her five-star standards of service from training at the Ritz Carlton Company. With an eye for detail, operational knowledge, and extensive business background she looks forward to helping grow Land Crazy. In her free time, you can find her exploring new trails with her Australian Shepherd, Zephyr, or riding on the Peloton bike.
