We want to thank you, Jackie, and the Land Crazy crew for a wonderful buying experience.

Jim and I are preparing to embark on the adventure of semi-retirement in the next few years. We were looking for the perfect place to recharge after hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing or traveling; a base camp that will always feel great to come home to and will also serve us well as we grow older and are a little less active. Our criteria was pretty simple (smile)..... a private lot with mature trees, no Kudzu, some rolling land, some level land for a garden, incredible mountain views, close-in to amenities/medical facilities for an unbelievable price. Did I mention it also needed to have a fairly gentle paved or hard packed access road because we own a Goldwing. On our second visit we purchased a gorgeous five acre lot just five miles out of Waynesville. We had some very high expectations and some anxiety about purchasing raw land but Tom filled the bill and did it with an incredible sense of humor and a style all his own. Thank you Tom for not only all that you did but also for being a friend. You made the process both easy and fun! Special thanks to Rolando Paez of Buena Vista Construction for generously lending us his time and exceptional technical acumen. "Roly" answered all our questions regarding construction in the mountains. We are looking forward to seeing a whole lot of him in the next couple years as we move on to phase II, building the perfect house on our perfect lot. Can't wait for that first party on our huge back deck........ Tom, don't forget to bring the shine :-)

After looking in the Asheville area for two years with not much luck, you took us to "our" mountain on our first day with you. That part was probably luck, but getting us to closing was nothing but hard work and persistence on your part. And getting us to closing was just a part of what you did for us. You went above and beyond to get us information, meet contractors, set up appointments and do all the things necessary to make us feel confident in our decision to purchase. You were a steadying, calming influence on our turbulent road to closing. It took you, Jackie and Rick working together as a team to get us to the finish line. In the end though, the best thing we came away with is getting you as a new friend and neighbor. Thanks again and keep the 'shine on ice!

"Jackie, Wendi and Mary are absolutely awesome. I did not get to work with them for very long because they sold my property so fast.
Jackie was very honest and up front about how to better sell my property.
Wendi is amazing. I had tons of questions, some of which were probably pretty stupid. I would email Wendi and she would send me answers back, usually within 10 minutes or less.
Everyone was very professional, however I never felt like I was just another customer working with a "big company", just real people who genuinely wanted to help. I will not ever work with anyone else!
